This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from www.jewelsandhorses.com (the “Site”).
PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

- Details regarding your connection to the Jewels and Horses Websites or Jewels and Horses apps: such as your operating system; IP address; your browser type (for visits to our website); details of the device you are using (e.g. your device serial number, unique identification number and MAC address); and your approximate geographic location of connection (to the nearest city).
We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

- “Log files” track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.
- “Web beacons,” “tags,” and “pixels” are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site.

- Facebook Pixel, Advance matching and Conversions API. (can disconnect this data from their Facebook account by changing your settings settings for Off-Facebook Activity.)
After you integrate a Facebook pixel with our online store, the pixel automatically tracks the following events.

Additionally when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers, paypal emails, clearpay account info, email address, and phone number. We refer to this information as “Order Information.”
We also collect your information (email, name, surname) if you subscribe to our mailing list. This is used to email you about our products and sales.
When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Order Information.
HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to:

Transfers to companies providing services under contract
Your personal data will be shared with companies providing services under contract to Jewels and Horses. A list of categories of service providers is set out below.
- Jewels and Horses website providers & hosting (Shopify)
- Google analytics provided for website improvements and optimisation (Google LLC)
- Tikitok
- Facebook & Meta
- Email Broadcast (Omnisend, Seguno, Mail chimp, Orderly emails)
- Couriers for posting out orders (Hermes, Royal mail, Parcel2go)
- Marketing apps (Paypal Marketing, Google ads, Tiktok, Facebook, Meta, Seguno, Omnisend, Shopify email)
Transfers outside the UK and EEA
When personal data is transferred internationally, we will rely on acceptable and defined legal mechanisms to ensure that we always protect data. In doing so, we may use standard contractual data protection clauses, which have been approved by the European Commission and currently adopted by the UK government. We may also transfer your data to organisations which have corporate rules in place to protect your data, which have been approved by EU data protection authorities. Alternatively, certain countries, like Japan, are also deemed to be adequate countries for the purposes of transferring your personal data. YOUR CHOICES & RIGHTS
Your general Choices and Rights
- You have the right to ask Jewels and Horses for a copy of your personal data; to correct, delete or restrict processing of your personal data; and to obtain the personal data you provide in a structured, machine readable format.
- You can object to the processing of your personal data in some circumstances (in particular, where we don’t have to process the data to meet a contractual or other legal requirement).
- Where we have asked for your consent, you may Withdraw consent at any time. If you ask to withdraw your consent to Jewels and Horses processing your data, this will not affect any processing which has already taken place at that time.

DATA RETENTION
When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.
